Odyssey No.21: College Randomosity

Wow the past week has been hectic as hell. Barely had the time to sleep at all! Well I guess it sucks to stay so far of campus, can't join the night activities :(

Anyway, I'll just kinda go through with what I did :)

14.01.2010

I went to Subang Jaya to get my college textbooks. Which is quite ridiculous considering I am studying in Nilai. Well, I went into my campus bookstore and couldn't find the books, turns out they were hiding it in a store room =_=", after I bought the books from Subang only realize that... Bummer!

Anyway, I explored INTI College Subang and also Taylor's UC. INTI Subang, so small la one building only ><... No campus feel at all leh, haha... And then Samson came and "smuggled" me into Taylor's UC where I met Wei Herng, Win Kee, Hui Yuin there too. Had a chat before Wei Herng showed me around. I do not mean to say this, but everything is mini-sized compared to INTI Nilai leh, how depressing you know! And the compound is small but they have tons of students, human traffic jam lol.

Then I kinda walked around while waiting for time top pass. Saw quite a huge food center down the street. Nice!

And they have quite a lot of facilities(expensive foods, mind you) there. But still, damn crowded la, the cars jam humans also jam. Can't imagine if I have to study here +_+

18.01.2010

My great friends made me celebrate my birthday XD. Well at first it was Zhi Lin who asked and then Natasya and then Jin Rui, then I kinda asked them to talk to each other and plan one celebration la. Three is just too much =.="

So yeah, was forced to celebrate by Nat and Zhi Lin. That day was already so tiring and then have to drive at night to Sg.Long Station One some more... Walau the eyes closing like nobody's business.

Anyway, it's AWESOME(because I'm easily satisfied :/). Kinda got messy when they started playing tho.

Chee Yern chose "Dare" and have to sing LOL!

Khai Chee and Samson rubbing noses.

Zhi Lin and Chee Yern imitating Madonna XD

Then I dunno from where they got this cake la, ice-cream punya. Luckily nobody tried to shove it in my face, or else sure damn dulan lol.

That cake, so hard until it broke the cutting knife. Haha. Imba ice-cream cake pwns knife ><.
Ah, not to mention one interesting thing happened. Jia Fuo who was driving Fui Chin to Sg.Long, ended up somewhere in Serdang, and then got his car rammed in the back which goes on to bang the car in front. I think they tried to settle the problem for quite a long time, in the end went to police station. Well, what can I say? Just another reason to laugh at him :PAnyway I have to say thanks to everyone who attended the dinner, had a fun time!

19.01.2010

I'm officially 18 on this day! :) . It's a rather normal day, I guess being 18 isn't really a big deal afterall :P.

Well, that night we had LEO Club and Adventure Club Gathering Night. I was at the venue too early LOL! The gathering starts at 7:30pm and I was there at 5:30pm! =_="

So what to do. Walk around and meet new peoples lor...

Took quite a few pictures of the set up but lazy to upload. They had all the old event banners up, Dr.Sia said it's their marketing strategy lol.

One of their banners.

Darren, VP of Adventure Club and Can Han, a regular of LEO Club.

And so, nothing much happened really. Some VIP gave their speeches, and then got some performances, and then makan, and then had some games where the objective is to get to know more peoples. But it's nice overall, I do have a sense of belonging here, can't wait for their next big event!

21.01.2010

The other day I was walking around and I noticed UN Club has set up a donation counter to collect donations for the Haiti earthquake victims. Me being busybody, I approached them and ask if they needed any help. And then the next day i was there helping out with the counter, with Karen the chairperson of UN club.

This was their counter. :)

Aftershock :O

These were the boxes. Donate and get a Hug :D

The guy from Green Knights helping out. He was standing on the bridge until we realized his shirt was putting off the donors XD

Yea it was fun, met a few new friends who were in my classes too. And I must say thanks to all the donors, especially those who took out RM50 notes and put it into the box :O. I myself I've only donated around RM5 , I dare say most of you out there are more generous than me :(.

Later that night I went for IMPAC gathering, IMPAC stands for INTI Music and Performing Arts Club.

Well, it's a simple one, not too flashy. We just had some speeches, food, and performances. I must say, although they do have a number of talented musicians, I still feel a little bit of disappointment. Their effort in gathering new members aren't that great, I only see a handful of new members, and most of them are beginners in guitar classes. Ah well, there are pros and cons for this situation which I will not elaborate.

So their performances were great! (For a small recital of course)

This session was performed by the chairperson(on the left) and his singer(dunno the name). Not too shabby, his playing style is folk fingerstyle. Like his guitar! XD

And then got a girl guitarist-cum-singer, which I did not have her photo. Quite pretty, but the most important thing is that she can play and sing lol. Talented, that's all I can say.

And then it was this group, Dr.Project from Indonesia. Cool bunch! They even played Jamie Cullum's "Mind Trick". Loved their performances!

The next session was Kevin and Seth, who played 4 songs. Seth is the guitar instructor in IMPAC while Kevin is the drums instructor. I have to say they are pretty awesome too!

Crap every performance is good to me, this must indicate that I'm still not very good haha... Nevermind, I think I'mma pick up some guitar lessons from Seth soon since he had offered to teach me personally :) . Just have to find time!

.Phew, that's about what happened for the last two weeks. Busy life I must say! Kinda regret not staying there haha, so I can't wait for the next semester when I will move in! Not to mention Natasya in moving in also. Wee~

Next up will be about the COP15 sharing we had at Sunway-UC. Will try to find time to blog about it ASAP! XD

Till next time, cheers~

2009 In Review

.
Bye Bye 2009~

Hello 2010~!

Hey guys I wish you a Happy New Year!

So for this post I'm going to write what's my 2009 is all about, the fun, exciting and unforgettable events of the year!

Of course let's start by reviewing my resolution for last year and how many of those did I achieved:

1. Winning the MSSS championship for good. - Failed to win the tournament as I was placed 12th in the tournament.

2. Scoring A for Chinese subject. - The best score for the paper was 67%... So yeah, I didn't achieve this as well.

3. Buy a good acoustic guitar costing about 400-600. - Nope, didn't buy an acoustic guitar because my parents wouldn't let me LOL!

4. Compose a full song. - I've finished 3 songs, got around 3 more still in progress! That's one! :)

5. Buy a DSLR. - Wish abandoned haha. Really can't afford to spend my money on this luxury item.

6. Quit DotA and TW by July. - Did this by June. That's two! :)

7. Performing in school at least 3 times. - Did a whooping 6 times! Woohoo! And another 3 outside the school means I did 9 performances last year, cool that's more than my previous gigs added together! :D . That's three! :)

8. Take up Violin lessons. - Nope, decided that the next instrument I shall learn is Saxophone.

9. Shoot 70+ in a golf round. - I forgot how many rounds of 70+ I played this year, probably just 2 or 3. I do remember though that I achieved this target in February during the MSSDHL @ UNITEN where I shot 78

10. Being desperately in love with someone. - Nope, didn't happened, though there were some "turbulences".

Haha I only achieved 4 out of the 10!

Now to the interesting stuffs happened to me last year! Luckily I documented all the events with the Odyssey series posts. Let me have a summary of each and everyone of the events!

Odyssey 1
Talks about my day out with the other Uncle Ken's students @ UNITEN golf course. Have to jaga the kids. Fun day out! Then Wilson fetches me back to my dad's workshop and we turned the wrong road :D

Odyssey 2
Zhi Lin joins me for golf practice @ Kajang Hill GCC. Taught him how to swing and he managed 50 meters leh! HAHA! Then we went to Jusco to watch "Dragonball: Evolution" with Teh O, Jia Fey, Jacquelyn and Hong Young. Lousy movie waste my money LOL!

Odyssey 3
Went to Midvalley for Photography exhibition after school with Photography Club mates. Found out some interesting stuffs, like giant lenses etc... Not that helpful though. And bought a guitar pickup that doesn't work on nylon strings. Grr!

Odyssey 4
A half day trip to Kolej University Islam Selangor with 5D. Though I didn't want to go but I have to say the place was impressive. Did some photographing there. Classmates were piled up at the computer booth to play Counter-Strike HAHA! I spent most of my time watching the drama competition, where I met Minyi for the first time since she transfered to SMK BBSL. My congratulations to them for winning 2nd place in the competition, refer to here for their side of the story :)

Odyssey 5
Sports Day of SMJK Yu Hua, this time it's held in Bangi so no people wants to go :P . I was there with the photography team for photography duty. And the in the afternoon we had our first Prom Night meeting, where we decided to have it at Oriental Crystal.

Odyssey 6
A visit to UCSI with Zhi Lin, Jia Fuo and Zhong Xin. We went there to watch their contemporary band recital performance. Went there by bus and taxi, damn exciting you know :D. Learned a lot of stuffs from the performers, hmm...

Odyssey 7
Photography club's trip to Cameron! This is too long to summarize so I suggest you check out the link :D

Odyssey 8
My first time driving to school! Overall nothing much, and oh, the day before this was the Teacher's Day performance. :)

Odyssey 9
Drove to and from Cheras Perdana twice in a day! Officially became the Music Club driver haha! Anyway this was about our practice session for the short performance on AGM day. Also got my harmonica and a letter from AFS asking me to attend interview, which I didn't went.

Odyssey Special
A summary of my mid-term holiday. I went to leadership camp, Chinese Cultural Camp and also performed in the Harmonica Symphony Orchestra Concert!

Odyssey 10
AGM day of Music Club, finally retired and annouced the new committee. Also went for Chinese Orchestra Concert.

Odyssey 11
Highlands Harmonica Festival @ Cameron Highlands. I went up there with our school's Harmonica Club as a percusionist for their orchestra, screwed up quite a bit haha! Met a lot of peoples from UCSI majoring in music. Awesome trip! Although it's a bit expensive.

Odyssey 12
Drove all the way to UM hospital to visit Hwa's sister who just went for operation. First time drove that far LOL! And got messed up by my GPS device. Moral of the day: Do not trust your GPS!

Odyssey 13

Peace Day outing with Minyi and her gang @ Sunway Pyramid. It was awesome fun! Went for ice-skating for the first time, fell down 5 times OMGWTFLOL! Met a lot of crazy friends there!

Odyssey 14
Went to Asian Electone Festival with Zhi Lin and John held at Istana Budaya. The place was fantastically beautiful, though a bit old already la. Went there by train, quite "Chi Gek" XD. The performance was brilliantly done, although I don't like some of them :/

Odyssey 15
Went to Midvalley with Zhi Lin for the short meeting for the Dance for the Planet Flash Mob. Met up with Minyi, Natasya, Jin Rui and William over there. Did some funny rehearsals :D. At last Minyi drove me home while it was raining heaviliy outside and she went the wrong way and in the end took more than an hour to reach my house XD

Odyssey 16
It's the day where we danced for the planet LOL! We did flash mob in KLCC park and Pavillion. Fun day overall!

Odyssey 17

Candlelight Vigil held by Green Drinks, Waterfall Survivors and MyCJN in Petaling Jaya. Went there by train with William. I even borrowed Samson's photography kit there to take photos LOL!

Odyssey 18
Prom Night! Self explanatory :D

Odyssey 19
Youth Empowerment Camp @ INTI-UC. Crazy camp LOL! Met TONS of new friends there, and some funny seniors too. Not to mention Natasya got full scholarship from INTI because of this camp! Made me realize that my life had just begun too!

That's all for the Odyssey Series.

Also, I have another series in this blog which I share some of my featured photos.

Lazy to write all out LOL but you can find every post of my Photography Session Series HERE!

2009 also marks the year I officially became a secular humanist and launched my secular crusade. I myself have written a few short articles about religion.

I do have a load more events of the year that I would like to share, but time forbids haha.

Anyway, here are the ten words that sums up my 2009 - Green, Peace, Secularism, Music, String Theory, Richard Dawkins, SPM, Photography, Golf, Friends.

So, the new year came and I have new year resolutions of course!

1. Have a total of 15 songs composed by me.
2. Reconstruct my golf swing and prepare for competitive golf again.

3. Get involved in many environmental movements and community service.

There you go...

So... That's all for this post. To end with I have to give thanks to all my friends who made my 2009 the MOST AWESOME YEAR YET!

First of all I have to thank the photography club members - Thomas, Samson, Chung Ka etc for my great increase in photography experiences. I'm sure we all enjoyed making fun of Thomas :D

Saturdays = Suicidal

Saturdays are getting suicidally boring for me, life without my band sucks :(

Well at least I've got others to help me pass my time during my visits.
Like our dearest pengerusi Lixuan. XD She's in the coat because she had to attend a big event as a VIP later today LOL! No la, that's the coat I wore during the Cameron Harmonica Festival, I'm returning it to the Harmonica Club today.

And we have quite a few Form 2 guys who are a funny bunch.

Having a good time at Old Town Coffee Shop.

My personal thought: These six guys(plus one or two more not in the picture) will be the big moving force in Music Club for years to come.

It feels good sometimes knowing that we've sacrificed quite some time to get this Music Club on track just to have a place for younger generations to have fun. Well, I admit we did had a good time, but it's too short. Meh, life is too short too.

The band is going well, and the practice today was okay, I'm sure you guys will be ready for your performance. Keep up with the practice. So, today's afternoon plan was cancelled. Went back home after activities lor. Got some serious cold this time, sore throat and running nose. Went back terus tidur for 3 hours, like I'm knocked out.

Everyone is getting sick these days. Screw evolution for inventing viruses... Now I'm stuck in my house, can't use the TV, can't use the piano because someone is watching the TV, can't play the guitar for the same reason, can't sleep because I'm not sleepy. I guess I'll be off to study then :(

So...Till next time, cheers~

Tribute to Michael Jackson

Note: Postponing the Cameron post since I still have quite some photos to upload.

Rise of new blood, passing of the old...

Today, the History and Geography Club held a small event as a tribute to the late Michael Jackson. The programs included performances from Music Club in collaboration with Harmonica Club and from Creative Motion Club, besides that there were also many music videos showing both studio and live performances of Michael Jackson.

We presented 3 songs, the first being Heal the World, and then Billie Jean, and lastly You are not alone.

Well, let's talk about Billie Jean and You are not alone first shall we? For Billie Jean, the running bass was almost perfect, and the electric guitar was good but fumbled a little bit, Jin Shing was a bit shaky during the whole song, maybe he's too nervous, chill out man =_=... And for the ending, I was worried like hell =_=, luckily they managed to end without screwing up the whole song, good on-stage problem solving XD

And then the next song was You are not alone. For this song, me, Nigel and John just took over the presentation on Wednesday because the others still can't perfect their songs, no point overloading them right? We only started practicing on yesterday...zzz... But no big deal la, since we always practice in the last minute for past few performances, biasa already LOL. But still there's a setback for the lack of practice, Jin Shing wasn't able to get the hang of the song. If you really really really noticed, he skipped the 2nd Chorus and went for the bridge =_=, my reaction was "omg~ what now?"  xD     But it's not bad la, we got back in two bar's time, for the audience it's just a small hiccup in a performance.

For Heal the World, it's really the first time none of the original band members from Form 5 performed in a full band. And that is why I saved it for the last. For this song, the whole band rosters are:  Yap Onn Sang - Tenor Saxophone , Ho Zhu Yi - Drums , Jeshua - Bass Guitar , Ben - Electric Guitar , Leong Zhe Hao - Keyboard 1(Piano) , Leong Shu Hwa - Keyboard 2(Strings) , Chiew Zhi Hong - Violin. Well, the whole band consisted of 7 players, and the thing that really excits me is that of the 7, 5 of them are from Form 2, Onn Sang being Form 3 and Hwa in Form 4.

To be honest, I've never felt any happier seeing someone else performing, I was seemingly touched. The whole song was brilliant, BRILLIANT! And you guys outperformed the seniors today, my salute to you. Thanks to Onn Sang for willing to play the Tenor Saxophone for this performance, I do hope we will have more performances together. My thanks to the Form 2 members for being so dedicated even though it's just one song, you guys have immense potential together, I'm looking forward to next year already, when you guys will mature into a cohesive band. My thanks to Nigel for conducting the practice to perfection, it was the great conducting that made the performance, John too for teaching Zhe Hao the keyboard for this song (even though John didn't really want to LOL!). My congratulations to Hwa for mastering the art of last minute practice XD, sorry you didn't get to practice together with them and have to learn to play everything today. And my congrats to Lixuan too, since this is your club and you managed to pull off with a great show today, Bravo indeed.

So... Just in case none of you knew, Mr. Nagaya himself came to us and praised us for the good show, no kidding! Kudos to everyone, it's really hard to get his recognition, he must've been impressed by what he saw today, and I AM REALLY SURE that it's the "Heal the World" that got his attention. I mean, all the band members are new blood and fresh faces, and it's really the first time a saxophone is used in a music band in our school, it is something special. I dare say, that in the whole Malaysia, only a handful of schools ever had this kind of band, so, to be able to walk around in school boasting that you are from Music Club is really a proud thing to do.

Phew~ So uh, Thank you again I say to everyone who was involved in this show, especially to History and Geography Club for giving us this opportunity to present our performance, and for your belief in us that we will give a great show LOL!

Just one last advice from me: Keep up the good work!

====================================================================

After the show went to jalan-jalan lor, since I have to wait for my sister until 6.45pm. Went to Mcdonalds together with Zhi Lin(went away only after ten minutes =/ ), Lixuan, Hwa and Ah Teoh to kill time :PTurned out Hwa picked the wrong place to sit lar, just below the air-conditioner. Beh tahan the cold, cold until all of us also freezing =_=Then they start gila photo already...zzz. Say want to mimic me warming my hands wa.

Haiz...So cold still want to drink cold water.

This is how both of them kill time. For me, it's sleep, blank stare and listening to songs.

Ah...Sienz...Time passed so fast, there goes a week and I'm not even into the mood yet. For next week I have to start studying already, in fact I'm already studying now, care to join me for my quest for perfection in exam? LOL!

Still, a promise is a promise, I will get the Cameron post up as soon as I possibly can, so keep checking and stay tuned.

Till next time, cheers~

Opera Breakdown

Finally got "21st Century Breakdown", Green Day's newest album, in Jusco today.

Well, what to say? This album is a type of album known as rock opera. Which means there is a main story in the album and it's being told in the form of multiple songs. For 21st Century Breakdown, it tells of a couple named Christian and Gloria living in the post-Bush era trying to make sense of the selfish manipulation going on around them, whether it be the government, religion, media or frankly any form of authority.

Well, overall there were some brilliant songs in this album, but also some recycled ones. Love it though.

Notable songs:

  • Know Your Enemy
  • Viva la Gloria
  • Before the Lobotomy
  • Last Night on Earth
  • Murder City
  • 21 Guns
====================================================================

The week has been a bit on the hectic side. There were lots of things to do, but that's the challenging part of life ain't it?

Yesterday's Music Club activity day was much smoother, members new and old are getting the hang of it, we are getting more turnouts for the activity too, which was a good sign.

We had to prepare 3 songs for the History&Geography club's MJ tribute event, namely Heal the World, Billie Jean, and You are not alone, in collaboration with Harmonica club.

The practice was good, it's hard to believe we're already sending out Form 2 members for performance. I dare say they have the potential to be big in the coming years, till then I'll keep my fingers crossed. Why so? Because I've only started guitar three years ago in Form 2, back then I was only a beginner, and these guys they were already jamming in Form 2, care to compare?

I do hope they keep jamming. Rock on!

====================================================================

The last orchestra practice for the Cameron trip was held today. I am playing percussions for the orchestra this time, not a very challenging role but it's still important. At least I still get to play in the orchestra LOL!  :D

Met the Guitar Store guy, named Ben, who will also be playing percussions. He's studying contemporary music in UCSI while working part-time at the Guitar Store in Cheras. Interesting life, I think Imma work part-time at Guitar Store when I graduate Form 5 too :)

The practice was a bit disastrous, haven't even practiced my parts XD. But it'll be fine, I still have one week to prepare.

So uh... Cameron here I come? LOL. It's my second trip to Cameron this year, I do miss that place. The good thing is we don't have to stay in lousy guesthouse this time. I think it's some apartment or something.

Phew...Meanwhile, I'm thinking of getting involved in saxophone. Any thoughts? Haha, it's bloody expensive, saving money again for now. Anyways, next update will probably be after the Cameron trip, with more photos!

Till then, cheers~

Report Card Day, Brass Band Concert and Harmonica Party

The last saturday was the report card day coupled with the brass band concert at night.

Music Club set up a counter in the hall to allow new members to register lor. Nothing much to say about that since I'm not around for long. Anyways, it's quite successful, so, my congratulations to the new committees for making that Saturday's campaign a successful one.

Preparation works in the morning.

The guys playing some gay songs, Xin the drummaster... Haha...

Jamming, not quite.

About the report card, I have to sit in class from 1pm till 4pm =_=... Help teacher to arrange the files and stuffs. Jinyi was late, grrr~

It's the last year for us to take the report card already, crap, I don't want to graduate from high school, it's just too much fun  :(

====================================================================

Later that evening I went back to school at 6pm to wait for the bus to UCSI for the brass band concert. The buses not enough LOL! Thomas and I went on to the same bus that departed first.

Upon reaching we went into the concert hall to look see. The place was not bad, just that it's a bit too small for a multipurpose hall, I mean, our school's hall is much bigger. But meh, it's air-conditioned :/

Took quite some photos, especially in sepia and B&W mode. The lighting there wasn't too bad either.
The settings on the stage.

I never knew you need to pay to talk :D

UCSI University stands for University College Sedaya International University, so... Is it a college or a university or a university university or a college university? Some peoples just don't think properly when naming and institute.

Not long after the peoples started to come in and the concert started. The Emcee for the night is Jia and another guy( First timer emcee, suckish spoken English, I don't blame him though).
The first few songs were mini orchestra comprises of a few brass instruments, conducted by Bao Yun. A bit on the mediocre side, but it's passable as a performance.

And then the full orchestra came in to play. Hmm... If you ask me, compared to the Chinese Orchestra concert, the Brass band concert is better in overall. Don't ask me to compare it with Hamonica concert though, I'm biased.

Warning: Music content, read at your own risk

Deeper analysis:

  • Song choices: 8/10
  • Sound: 9/10
  • Presentation/ Performance:7/10
  • Crowd Factor: 9.5/10
  • Overall Verdict: 8/10

The song choices are okay, though some are really not suitable while some are just right. Notable songs include Songs of the earth, water, fire and sky; Pirates of the Caribbean; The Phantom of the Opera; Latin medley.

The sound of the whole performance in near perfect, I didn't see a mic present on the stage and yet I can hear the sound of the flute solo from behind the hall. Maybe it's because the hall is small, but who cares? :P And it's perfectly balanced, there's not a section where it's too loud or too soft. One thing that I found not right and really can't be corrected in a brass band is that, it is a brass band, well... It's all woodwind and brass instruments, and some percussions of course, but it still gets a bit monotonous, if you get what I mean. I heard from Jin Shing that Harmonica guys are planning a Yu Hua Orchestra concert on the next year, so I hope these problem(together with the problems in Chinese Orchestra) can be resolved once and for all.

The presentation is a bit let down, though still good. Why so? The performance wasn't too bad, I didn't detect any mistakes or blunders(I wouldn't know LOL!). But, it's not too impressive either, like I always said, not enough "oomph", or not enough punch. There is a part of the music in I-dunno-which-song where it's building up to the climax and when it reached there the release was a bit disappointing. So I heard that this is partly to blame on the old age of the instruments, since old one tends to produce dry and weak sounds in oppose to the bright sounds.
The crowd's reaction towards the performance was great, they were entertained, me too, but not fully lar. They were awesome and supportive, and kinda over reacted when the emcees went on stage to sing(the worst part of the whole show, bad decision to allow the male emcee to sing at all).

Overall, it's a good show, especially for school level, can't expect much since the new headmaster really lockdown Co-curricular activities.

p.s: Mickey mouse show is a gamble, and luck was on their side. Kudos.

And there ends three weeks of non-stop concert nights of Yu Hua, from now until the year end, it's pure death boredom.
====================================================================The The following day I went to Teck Foo's house for Harmonica Orchestra gathering party.
Nothing much to say about this XD

Chit chat a bit over there, barbecue, eat, walk, take photos, eat more, take for photos.
Trying to light up the fire.

The pond in the house.

Ming Chek cutting cucumber O_O

Fire

Song Guang the professional fire starter

Cheers~!

Then they showed the videos from Harmonica concert, didn't get to see all. Haha, funny guys, awarded me 大包 for the blunder in the last song "The Circle of Life" LOL! Ask them if you haven't know how did I screw up the ending.

====================================================================

So uh...That's all for the week. Nothing much happening. Life is slowing down and accelerating at the same time.

Music club have got 40 new members just in these two weeks alone, mostly into lessons, a few wanting to be in the band, I am is doubting their ability though, and they are graduating soon too.

On the new committees, I feel proud and disappointed for you guys.

I feel proud because you guys really did a great job, I can see some aggressive leaderships just like how the we used to be(though not as much, har har har...). And the whole club admin work is a lot more smoother than what it used to be. Keep up the good work!

And the disappointments comes from the lack of commitment towards the club, generally. I still get naggings, excuses, lack of respects, lots more... As if a single individual is more important than the whole club. Look, why are you chosen to be a committee member at the first place? It's because we have faith in you to look after the welfare of the club. And one thing that anyone one of you have to know is that, you are a replacable asset, and that's all. No one is more important than any other person in the whole committee, everyone has a role to play. To think that the president is more important than a treasurer is a serious misconception, and must be abolished quickly.
So my hopes are for the committee to put aside any differences and start working together, if not already doing so.

Phew~ So... Until next time, cheers~
